Replacing the cabin filter DIY Pilot
The cabin filter Honda Pilot is located behind the glove compartment, so it will need to be removed. Everything is done simply – you need to shake everything out of the glove compartment, squeeze the walls, removing the shelf from the clips, lower the glove compartment to the floor. The cabin filter is now accessible.
There is only one obstacle left – the cabin filter cover. To remove it, you need to squeeze the clips along the edges, after which you can pull out the cabin filter tray.
After removing the filter from the tray, it should be inspected from both sides. A filter clogged with debris and dust that has changed its original color to dark gray or black should be replaced. Not very dirty filter can be cleaned and put back.
Installation of a new filter is carried out in the reverse order. The only caveat, which side to put the cabin filter. If an arrow is drawn on it, it should be facing down.
