The interior of Volvo is distinguished by high quality workmanship and well-proven ergonomics. At the same time, the stylish center console retained its signature features: the climate control system, as on all models of this brand, is organized as a human figure – it is logical, convenient and understandable. The stylish driver’s seat is equipped with electric adjustments that allow you to choose the right parameters for yourself, but the longitudinal adjustment has insufficient range for the tall driver. Manageability also does not bring surprises, including unpleasant ones. Understandable reactions, the predicted demolition of the front in response to the addition of gas in the bend, and the presence of minor banks. It doesn’t start – but it fully meets Volvo’s philosophy: “Safe and Safe”.
Energy-intensive pendants pamper with comfort. At low speeds, the ride is excellent, and within the suburban highway and the permissible speed, the car does not cause any problems with passengers, and only at large pits the suspension occasionally breaks.
Although the V40 Cross Country is positioned as an all-terrain vehicle, it’s better not to go beyond the snowy track and the curbs. Front-wheel drive significantly limits patency.
This Volvo is a typical city hatchback with high ground clearance, which will allow you to go where the average sedan cannot get. Dynamics and controllability are acceptable, but competitors represented by BMWs of the first series and Audi A3 are on the alert.
